The first company of WisonBio was founded in May 2003, with strong financial support from Wison Group Holding Limited, one of the largest and fastest-growing energy service & manufacturing conglomerates in mainland China. WisonBio is dedicated to research, development and commercialization of novel human vaccines and therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) for unmet medical needs. As of the end of 2009, the cumulative investment for WisonBio exceeded US$40 million.
WisonBio now includes 3 companies: Genor Biopharma Co. Ltd., for therapeutic mAb, Fc fusion and recombinant therapeutic protein business; Zerun Biotechnology Co., Ltd, for human vaccine business; and Shanghai Zerun-Ankegens Biopharmaceuticals Co., Ltd, which is the subsidiary Joint Venture of Zerun Biotechnology Co., Ltd with Ankegens Laboratories, a Canadian biotech company. Shanghai Zerun-Ankegens is dedicated to therapeutic vaccine business. |
